The Hong Kong Sustainable Campus Consortium (HKSCC)
was established in 2010 by the Heads of Universities Committee (HUCOM) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). It is a platform for the higher education institutions in Hong Kong to share information and best practices on sustainability related issues. The consortium is also responsible for implementing the Hong Kong Declaration and reporting the results of environmental performance indicators adopted by the higher education sector in the HKSAR. Members include both academic and non-academic colleagues from the eight publicly-funded universities.

Message from the 2021 Convening Institution

Universities have a social responsibility for sustainable development.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong is honoured to take up the convenorship of HKSCC again and chair the executive committee in 2021.
